Convicted about reconciliation, friendship, kindness...

I've been thinking about the people in my life that I should reach out to, and show kindness and grace to. Sometimes we hurt each other, and if not dealt with, can cause broken relationships. I just feel like there are some people in my life that I need to reconcile with and show kindness, and grace to, and to try and restore our broken friendships. I really am not perfect at doing this, but I'm trying, it's going to take a while, but by His grace through time and continued effort and prayer, I hope that broken friendships can become blossoming friendships. God is all about unity and keeping harmony in the church. God is all about forgiveness, kindness, grace, mercy, and love.

I am convicted about this one thing: there are no enduring relationships without forgiveness.

Ephesians 4: 1-5, 29-32

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
